La star d’Alerte à Malibu, David Hasselhoff, alias Mitch Buchannon, participera officiellement au tournage de la suite de Piranha 3D, baptisée Piranha 3DD.
Le premier film signé Alexandre Aja avait été apprécié par les critiques.
Le nouveau film sera réalisé par John Gulager. Il devrait sortir aux USA le 13 novembre prochain.
Danielle Panabaker, Christopher Lloyd et Gary Busey complèteront le casting.
